Campaign Contribution Disclosures
The Judicial Nominating Commission (JNC) is composed of Lay Members and Attorney Members who, with the exception of three At-Large Members, are appointed based on the Congressional District in which they reside. Article 7B of the Oklahoma Constitution, adopted by referendum in July 1967, directs that these members be selected from each Congressional District “established by the Statutes of Oklahoma and existing at the date of the adoption of this Article.” The JNC Members page identifies the specific Congressional District for each appointed Lay and Attorney Member, and the 1967 Congressional District map provides important context and transparency regarding JNC member representation across the state.
