William E. (“Bill”) Warnock, Jr.

Bill Warnock, of Tulsa, is a registered professional engineer in both civil and petroleum engineering, as well as an entrepreneur with over 50 years in the business world.

Bill has founded six different companies. He was the majority owner, president and CEO of Brighton Energy, a natural gas exploration and production company, until its sale to Unit Petroleum and Chesapeake Energy in 2006. He also began Arapahoe Marketing Services in 1997 where he was Chairman and CEO. He held similar positions and was instrumental in founding Medallion Petroleum, Inc. (1985), MGM Gas Marketing (1987), InterCoast Oil & Gas Company (1992), and KCS Medallion Resources (1996). He began his career in 1974 with Exxon Company, USA in their New Orleans offshore division office.

Bill worked his way up through the oil patch, with successful careers at Exxon (Offshore Division Reservoir Engineering Manager), Crystal Oil Company (Executive Vice President and COO), and the string of companies he has founded.

Bill has served on the board of numerous organizations including Medallion Petroleum, the Auburn University Engineering College, the Heart of Route 66 Museum in Sapulpa, OK, Wilerewh Properties, and South Tulsa Baptist Church.

Bill and his wife Becky have participated in numerous charitable efforts, including the American Diabetes Association, the Auburn University Museum of Art, the Auburn Foundation to support the Shelby Engineering Center, South Tulsa Baptist Church, the United Way of Tulsa, Jenks High School, the Tulsa River Parks project, the Auburn Eagle’s society, the Boy Scouts of America, United Cerebral Palsy, Am Vets, Prevent Blindness, and Family and Children’s Services of Oklahoma. Bill has also been involved in numerous other organizations including the IPAA, OIPA, SPE, Energy Advocates, Young President’s Organization, Tulsa 49’ers, and the Auburn University Engineering Advisory Council.
