William R. Grimm graduated from University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1970 and a Juris Doctorate degree in 1973. He is the senior trial lawyer for Barrow & Grimm, PC in Tulsa, Oklahoma. During his legal career, Bill served the legal profession in many capacities, including as presidents of the Oklahoma Bar Association in 2006; Tulsa County Bar Association in 1992; Tulsa County Bar Foundation in 1993; and Oklahoma Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates in 2014. Bill was elected to the Oklahoma Judicial Nominating Commission in 2017. He also previously served on the OBA Board of Governors; the OBA Professional Responsibility Commission and the OBA Professional Responsibility Tribunal; the TCBA Board of Directors and the TCBF Board of Trustees. In addition, Bill was a long term member of the American Bar Association and the ABA Southern Conference of Bar Presidents. During his professional career, Bill received numerous awards from various legal associations for his outstanding service to the organization and professionalism, including a Governor’s Commendation from Gov. Mary Fallin in 2012 for his numerous professional achievements.
